Introduction
United we stand, divided we fall~Aesop. These words were exactly what the three strikes were all about. Three Strikes is a website that exposes the millions of farm laborers who have suffered under the hands of unjust growers. These strikes weren't simply caused by demanding workers. These workers have had their wages cut and have had poor working environments and no health care. Some of these strikes had failed miserably, but there were a few whom, because of these past failures in strikes have used this to their advantage. Three Strikes is a website that is dedicated to show the endurance and strength these immigrant farmers have shown throughout these three very notable strikes in history (1920-1970) The Imperial Valley Strike, The Salinas Lettuce Strike, and The Delano Grape Strike. The first strike only included one ethnicity, Filipino. The second strike included Whites and Filipinos, and the third included Chicanos and Filipinos. The third strike was the most significant because this strike included other races and they stood together and worked together to get their message across. Although many people at the time expected them to fail, T because of too much difference in culture, the interracial group definitely succeeded in receiving what they asked for. The hardships and battles they have won and lost haven't all been in vain.
