Conclusion
One does not simply achieve his or her goals alone. These strikes
displayed how they affected each other. The first strike, the Imperial
Valley Strike did not succeed because they did not have everything
organized and planned. They also only had one race that went ok on
strike, which greatky affected the outcome of the strike. The second
strike, the Salinas Lettuce Strike, had failed as well because they
didn't have perseverance and patience unlike the next one. They tried
working with a different race, but the other race was convinced by the
growers and eventually their union was torn and broken, thus resulting
in another failed attempt at a strike. The last but definitely not the
least was the Delano Grape Strike. This strike was well organized and
consisted of strong, passionate and dedicated group of diverse
farmers. This strike wa s also headed by a CIVIL RIGHTS LEADER, CESAR
CHAVEZ. This strike had learned from the past failed strikes and had
used this knowledge to implement rights for the agricultural workers
as well as the growers.
